The brawl broke out at the Panera Bread located at 7764 S. Colorado Blvd. in Centennial, Colorado, at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to witnesses, the fight started between two groups of people who were sitting at separate tables.

The fight quickly escalated, with people throwing punches and chairs. The Panera Bread employee, who has been identified as 22-year-old Eric Edewaard, tried to intervene and break up the fight.

Employee Uses Pan to Break Up Brawl

When Edewaard saw that the fight was getting out of hand, he grabbed a frying pan from the kitchen and used it to break up the brawl. Edewaard swung the pan at the people who were fighting, and was able to stop the fight.

Edewaard's actions were captured on video by a customer who was sitting in the restaurant.

Edewaard Praised for Bravery

Edewaard has been praised for his bravery by the police and by the community. The Centennial Police Department said that Edewaard's actions helped to prevent the fight from escalating further.
